Organic Form
In a world defined by rigid lines and frantic schedules, we asked ourselves: Can a backyard slow down time? For the ‘Shala’ project, we stepped away from traditional rectangular architecture to embrace the philosophy of flow. Inspired by the retreats of Bali, this space was conceived not just as a swimming area, but as a sensory detox. By blending fluid pool edges with tactile natural stone and filtering light through intricate woodwork, we created a private oasis that feels miles away from the suburbs.
Fluidity in
Architecture
Nature rarely moves in straight lines, and neither does this pool. We designed a free-form, organic water vessel that mimics the curves of a natural lagoon. The seamless edge, finished with premium light Travertine, creates a visual softness that invites you to touch the surface. It’s a deliberate break from convention, designed to soothe the eye and soften the landscape.

The heart of relaxation is the custom-built timber pergola. Unlike standard shade structures, this piece features intricate geometric fretwork panels that filter sunlight, casting dancing shadows throughout the day. Equipped with a hand-woven hammock and framed by minimalist timber slats, it serves as a dedicated meditation nook a ‘Shala’ for rest.

True luxury is privacy. Instead of fences, we used walls of life. We curated a lush, large-leaf tropical planting palette featuring hardy banana plants and dense ornamental grasses to create a ‘green cocoon. ‘ This biophilic approach not only blocks sightlines but also dampens sound, deepening the sense of immersion.
